KSAN -fm radio in San Francisco; apparently broadcast several shows from Old Waldorf, concurrently.
Try searching "Old Waldorf" on the dimeadozen.org site to see the set lists and possible sources...
F'rincetance, I found details about a personal favorite:
Blondie
09/21/77
Old Wardorf
San Francisco, CA
Opening act: The Nuns (both shows)
I showed up for the early one, and got to stay for the late show since it was half empty!
It was my first punk rock show, man it was wild.
I sat there smoking stanky homegrown that I grew on the back of my Sausalito houseboat ...Stanley Mouse named it 'spinach' because it was mostly leaf - by the time he tried a puff... oh well!
The Nuns were shouting out "Kill the Hippies!" and "You're smokin' heroin!"... I didn't get TOO comfortable, so what the hey!
A fight broke out in front of the stage between the only 2 guys standing near the stage - they were apparently die-hard Nuns fans, pogoing spasmodically during Blondie's set one of them grabbed Debbie Harry's scarf and tried to pull her off the stage while she was singing, so Clem got up and swatted the punks with his towel...

The story goes that later the same 2 cats got backstage and trashed Blondie's dressing room and The Nuns were cancelled from the next Blondie show (2 more sets) scheduled for the following night - the manager got someone else to replace the Nuns.
Outside the joint (tucked away on a 2nd level labyrinth in the unlikely financial district well after business hours) beer bottles were blasting on the sidewalk, just another nite in '77...

aw memories.

So I tried to get a hold of Joel Selvin like u recommeded. First off, I read an interview of his on rockcritics.com. He resume was impressive and from the interview he seemed like he could've helped.
I wrote him a pretty extensive email detailing my ?s. Granted it was pretty long, I was pretty baked when I wrote it, but it was good.
He wrote back with a two setence response that answered one of my ?s I guess...not really. So he's either a really busy guy, or just an ass.
The reason I ask these ?'s is cuz there is no site that has live stuff like Blondie->more pop culture and if they exist, and I can license them, I have some possibely interested investors.

Much like what was done by Rhino Records.

Anyway, I'm not old enough to have gone to shows like Blondie back then. I'm only 23. But I have seen a decent amount of shows. Particularly Phish shows. 22 in all.
I'll tell u about a few of my experiences, if you'd like.

Matt,

I found out a good friend of mine has reel to reels of 20 vintage late '70s Old Waldorf shows, some direct from the KSAN masters.

Let me know if you'd care to be reached via email.

Happy-sad memories of what may yet happen from all tomorrow's parties at the Fillmore 1966/1967:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/crow_fjord/460.html

well how do ya do, so it's no more Mr. Nice guy Selvin, the great journalist takes but 2 scribbles out of his remaining time to signify nada...

That Blondie show from the Old Waldorf, was apparently broadcast on KSAN -while there is still a station by that name, the original KSAN DJs reunite on certain Sundays on the college FM station KUSF 90.3.
We'll find out one way or another what the status is...
sure, spin some yarns about what's happening recently relatively speaking... by any means!
